It could be the house you grew up in, or your first home, or just one you like. I can also paint storefronts, landmarks, and other buildings, maybe even a remembrance of a holiday. Working from photos, I hand-draw the house directly face-on if possible, playing up its unique architectural details. I don’t add much of the surroundings or background unless they are important. The resulting painting is playful, colourful, and makes a charming portrait of the house or building.

The finished piece will be an artistic interpretation and might not look exactly as the house or building does in "real life", but will capture its character.

All you need to do is provide as many photos as you can, up close and front on views, as well as your address (Google images are sometimes helpful).

I use high-quality watercolour paper, watercolours and ink for all my paintings. Total time from receipt of your photos to finished artwork is 10-15 business days. Then the painting will be carefully packaged and shipped by Canada Post.

Price for 9 x 12 painting is $125 (frame not included). Additional fee may be charged for more complex paintings. Includes Canada wide shipping by Canada post. Payment is made by e-transfer.
